  • The way pics are displayed here is better than the old board in that they can appear full-size (so you don't have to click on a thumbnail). Though this does mean the page takes a bit longer to load.

    The way pics are displayed here is shitter than the old board in that you can't upload pics (only link to pics that are already elsewhere on the web)

  • Fantastic pictures thathurt. I've been thinking about Bristol all today thinking what a fab evening it was. Ive missed it all week. I don't think I can last until Manchester   8-}
  • Thanks. Not long now tho. Yeah a whole week ago.
  • I finally got up the nerve to come to this page and read all about all of the joy y'all were able to absorb and not quite so painful, now, for one who's never seen them live, don't expect to anytime soon.  I just knew this show would knock any real fan's socks off.  Just amazing and just as I expected.  She'd be all fired up after, what? two years without much road work?  Some of those pictures!  My god, it really was like sitting in your local pub!

    So, the sound on some of the shots here wasn't all that good.  I"m expecting it was very good sound live?

    Also, watching some of the videos, I think it was more clear to me than
    ever how carried away, how absorbed, Alison gets in the music.  It
    explains a lot.

    God, it must have been great!  May you cherish that lovely memory forever.

  • there is nothing like it and I really feel for you not being able to get to a live show. the sound, the atmosphere, the joy that fills the space when the band are on stage is incredible. being there with friends and knowing that everyone in the room is focusing on one person who performs the role of high priestess, and you can see the goddess through her. its no wonder she gets nervous. I am a goldfrapp fan and I am proud of that fact, its a value worth sharing.

  • LOVE IT!  And, exactly what I would have expected  DANG, maybe they can save the world (which, to me, is way beyong World Peace), after all.  That has to be the very best description of the experience I have heard.  Thanks for that, tweety.  Damn tears in my eyes, again!

    I think you spell "fan" as "fanatic", also.  Woohoooo!  Don't mess with the High Preistess or Goddess!
