  • River Man by Nick Drake.
This song, and particularly this video, reminds me of the Tales of Us era of Goldfrapp. I heard a cover of this, earlier in the week, by Olivia Chaney performing at this weeks folk awards. The female vocal pushed it even further into the Goldfrapp reminiscence.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
  • Colin Blunstone - Say You Don't Mind
Reminds me of both Goldfrapp TOU and the Beatles, which is obviously the string quartet.
@Whickwithy would have liked this. You still out there WW?

  • Whickwithy has informed me that he will never be returning to this forum ever again because he does not wish to engage in battles with "fools."

    His words. Not mine.

  • Shame. You drove him away. He's been here since the start of the forum.

  • I hope so. He has been a loyal Goldfrapp contributer for many years. Remember the time he had been on the pop one night and filled about 20 pages? Hilarious!
Who's going to tell us Cajun jokes?

Saw him in performance in a small room above a pub a few years ago - the man is a force of nature and a 5 star hero
