Where? As I sit here writing this comment, I see "write comment", "Save draft", "Post comment", and "Back to Discussions". The only way I know, once you have started writing a comment, to delete it is the very roundabout way of going to "My Drafts" and deleting it. Very awkward.

Never mind. I thought you meant in edit mode. Why would you need one in the general post mode when you can just delete your text? The one problem I have there is that, when I wish to delete my text, it has sometimes automatically saved it as a draft. At that point, I must go to drafts in order to delete it.
Oh, I see that's what you're saying. Eh, no big deal though, right?

OK, have disabled tagging.
Experimented with disabling voting (as some people get inadvertently shoved into 'sort by votes' mode... which causes massive confusion) but unfortunately the 'counters' against each thread (votes, follows, views & comments) then vanish. Weird.
Incidentally, those counters vanished in 'Discussion view-mode' a few months ago. Flagged it to admin-proper, but not had any response.

No loss. All that stuff that used to show up in the message list was kinda nice, though. And, I still miss the item from the old board that showed who wrote the original post for a thread. Again, it's not a big deal. It's just that it's awkward, which I will say is the case for a lot about this board. On the old board, also, when you "marked all viewed", it would set the pointer to the last post of the thread. That was really nice.Halloween_Jack said:OK, have disabled tagging.

The mobile version shows the original poster (which for some weirdly undefined reason - I also like) but the deleting of Drafts in mobile mode is a complete carbuncle on the face of usability "super-feckstix-arse-twat time" . Just remembered something else which I think might be the biggest knobache in mobile mode... when you haven't viewed a thread for a while... it's ridiculously difficult to get to the last post!
You click on the thread title which obviously takes you to the post you last viewed. Clicking on "more comments" just takes you forward through a few. (Choosing 'Mark all viewed' doesn't help... as WW said, above.) At least in desktop-mode, you can click on the highest page-number... which takes you to the last page.
Unless I'm missing something...??
