if anyone's interested you can see the ISS each evening untill 22nd august in U.K skies just go to
http://www.heavens-above.com/ & enter your location then click on ISS times & bingo you'll know when to see the ISS from your location there's also a sky map to help you on where to look if you need it just click the date & timme on the ISS page..... enjoy i have ;)Just Keep Things Simple.....

But yes, as Ping says, a lot of the North Sea and most of the English Channel was dry land until the end of the last Ice Age. Fishermen over Dogger Bank and other areas regularly bring up stone axes and mammoth bones and the like in their nets.
Ironically, a large part of central North America was underwater at about the same time - Lake Agassiz.

Kinda a fascinating thought, really. Cut off from the rest of the world to develop in your very own way for a very, very long time. There are times I could definitely do that. In fact, most of the time.

Hahaha! No, you know I had that one experience, one night, where I babbled like crazy. And, yes, I can easily be motivated to do that but it just wasn't fun because I realized I had offended, at least, a few people. I can't blame them in the least. That was what I kept trying to get across to Alan. Anyways, I don't like feeling like I've been inundating since that night. Heck, I'm kinda suprised I have as many posts as I have. Lately, about all I've posted is Add a Word. I don't know, I was thinking about exactly that today, in fact. Sometimes, I feel like I have something to say on everything and, then.....nothing. I read most of the threads every time I come on to see if there's a word to add and...nothing! I even got turned off from offering comfort on a couple of threads. Weird. Hahahaha! And, probably a blessing. It is soooo easy to get me started. This post as case in point! Certainly one thing that stikes me pretty dumb, from time to time, is when I realize I'm going to miss another concert. Sigh.

We have access to a bit more info now, including post-totals over the past month. I don't even feature in the top 10, tut-tut.
