    @Dreeke would you say thats a normal persons ten minutes or are you a fast walker?  Did you notice any cobbles at all en-route to the venue?!  I'm planning to wear heels in an effort to see more :P  
    Perhaps I will just drink lots to numb the feet, now that Alison has confirmed toilets and all.

    @una: 10 mins at regular walking speed. Plenty of cobbles on the way there, but nothing a real trooper couldn't manage... ;)

    Pob - Weds only :-( - (unless I decide to try and get a Thurs tkt and beg for a room Thurs night too lol)


    Arriving sometime after 4 prob. Assuming its back from mechanic am coming up on bike (first big trip since you know what) esp as the mitre told me on the phone today I could put it in the staff bit by the side of the hotel :-).

    If not I'll be doing a frantic last minute train thing haha

    @Dreeke or anyone else who can help.  Should I book a train ticket online to get from the airport to Man/Pic or is it easy enough at the airport?
    This travelling alone business can be daunting but I'm sure it will all be fine.....eek!

    @Whickwithy but that's the problem isn't it, I won't be wearing me boots I'll be in heels :P

    It's easy to get a bus or train from Manchester airport and they run really regularly so don't worry!

    Hell manchester is one of the few places left with free city centre buses.
