    It's about time they were nominated again. I would have thought it would miss this years nominations seeing as albums not out until September and the show usually is same month.
    Still, there's things like the Brits next year ( whatever people think to that show!). Maybe even an Ivor Novello? :)>-

    they deserve it. they deserved it for felt mountain. i'm really irrationally butthurt they didn't win it for FM actually haha

    edit: well actually it occurs to me that maybe i should wait until i actually hear the album before i go around proclaiming that it deserves prizes but, ya know

    i really concur that MUTE may have blown this....the buzz over the weekend on the net about the Manchester shows was ASTOUNDING....they should have coordinated or moved up release to first half of August...no?

    July/august are simple not the best months to release an album. Unless it's packed with hits for the summer.
    September is a much more logical choice. Especially if you want to release something major.
    Although there might be some stiff competition as Arctic Monkeys and Arcade Fire are releasing new albums in the same week.
