The main stage, according to a guy I stood next to, had been closed all day and instead the purple tent-like stage became the new 'main stage'. ah, that explains why I thought the stage I watched on the stream seemed a bit small...

No, not true. At Route Du Rock and Pinkpop back then there were other artist on that didn't allow streaming of their set. the lowlands gig was actually streamed live in its entirety by 3voor12.nl but only the audio and 1 clip of strict machine …

Basically that it was brilliant and the audience was very appreciative. I've been to gigs where new material was played and the audience was a bit like 'nice, but now play something we know please...'
