Where do you go for new music?
If you like electronic music in any form I'd absolutely recommend Boomkat - yes, it's a shop and it wants to sell you things but browsing around on there and its themed sister-site 14tracks.com turns up some serious stuff.

Having an hour or two going through various links and reviews to catch up on new music. First up are Jessy Lanza, Young Echo, South London Ordnance, Kuniko and Stave. I've a feeling some of those might just be excellent.........

Mahler hadn't really been on my horizon but thanks to Wiiiiiiiiill's 6 Music interview I figure I need to get his 5th. What they played was pretty excellent and right up my classical alley.

Is there really a radio edit of Drew?
I think those stations who would want to play Goldfrapp, and Drew specifically, are the same sort of station that would happily play the full version and those who aren't are probably more likely to not play it at all. I can understand the edit…

It's funny - I enjoyed watching Seb play so much at MIF that it was easy to forget he's not even done double figures worth of live shows with them yet but he looks like he's been with them for ages. Bodes well for the future!

I still find it bizarre that as one gets older there's something about classical that clicks. Never understood why but I wonder if it's because of both the space it holds and the distillation of emotion which we understand more by then?
